Paleo chilli
INGREDIENTS
Olive oil
1 Onion, diced
1 Pepper, diced
1 lb Grass-fed ground beef
1/2 lb Italian sausage (sweet and/or spicy)
1 jar diced Jovial tomatoes with juice
1/2 (6 oz) can tomato paste
1-3/4 cup Broth or water
4 tbsp of your favorite dry rub (2 tbsp Chili powder, 1 tbsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp Cumin, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder)
For the toppings:
Cilantro
Green onion
Avocado
DIRECTIONS
Melt olive oil over medium heat in a large pan. Add the onion and pepper and saute. Add ground beef and sausage and cook until both are browned and no pink remains.
Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker with the rest of the ingredients and spices. Stir well and cook on high heat for 3 hours or on low heat for 6 hours.
