Copycat Daily Harvest Mint + Cacao Smoothie
Let’s make this version at home but instead of peppermint extract, we’re harnessing the power of fresh mint leaves to bring that same flavor right from the plant. Adding ground flax to further promote better digestion without sacrificing flavor.
INGREDIENTS
1/2 frozen banana
1 cup spinach, packed
1 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp ground flaxseed
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Dash of pink Himalayan salt
Fresh mint leaves
1 cup unsweetened almond milk or filtered water
DIRECTIONS
Blend all with liquid of choice to desired consistency and enjoy.
