Hazelnut Snickers
For those with a sweet tooth and chocolate lovers everywhere. This healthy alternative to a candy bar is inspired by Dada Eats.
INGREDIENTS
7 medjool dates, pits removed
1/2 cup hazelnut almond butter
1/4 cup shredded coconut
1/4 cup almond flour
1 tbsp organic maple syrup
2 tbsp roasted peanuts, chopped
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1 tbsp coconut butter
DIRECTIONS
Thoroughly combine dates, almond butter, shredded coconut, almond flour, and maple syrup in a food processor. Fold in chopped peanuts and then roll mixture flat. Cut into segments and freeze for 15 mins. Next, in 20-second increments, microwave chocolate chips and coconut butter until fully melted. Finally, roll the dough in the melted chocolate and top with flaky salt. Freeze for at least 30 mins and then enjoy! Best if stored frozen or in the refrigerator thereafter.
